Admission Procedure

For admission, patient along with a legal guardian should attend the out-patient unit of Guwahati Psychiatric Hospital at Panjabari, After the initial psychiatric and psychological evaluations, patient will be admitted at the in-patient unit at Sonapur. All the admission formalities are to be completed at our out-patient unit at Panjabari.

FOLLOWING ARTICLES ARE NOT ALLOWED

Saree, Dupatta, Lungi, Gamocha, Belts.

Razors, Blades After-shaves, Liquid perfumes, Gold ornaments and other costly items.

Mobile phone, Laptops.

FOLLOWING ARTICLES ARE ALLOWED

Gown, Maxi, Hem-coat, Pants, Shirts and Turkish-towels

Small music players, and Musical instruments

VISITORS’ RULE

Only parents, spouse and legal guardian are allowed to meet the patient.

Time: Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM (Prior permission is required from the hospital authorities to visit your ward on weekdays.)

The hospital is a tobacco, smoke, drugs and alcohol free zone. For the health of our patients, employees and visitors, smoking, drinking, or any form of tobacco is not permitted on this campus including all buildings, parking lots and grounds.
