  • IN-PATIENT UNIT

    The in-patient unit of Guwahati Psychiatric Hospital is located at Patarkuchi village 16 km east of Dispur, the capital of Assam. Situated on a hillock, the scenic beauty of the place itself adds tranquillity of the disturbed mind. It is more like a resort than a hospital

  • DRUG-DEADDICTION UNIT

    A team comprising psychia- trist, physician, clinical psy- chologist, psychiatric social worker and counsellor provide both medical and psychological treatment to the patients. Patient follow a structured routine of yoga, games and sport and group meeting and counselling. Various physical ailments caused by alcohol and drugs are taken care of.

  • CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY LABORATORY

    We provide the most modern clinical psychological laboratory for evaluation of various psychiatric and psychological problems, academic and occupational problems and relationship problems. Dr. P. Leelavathamma, M.Phil, Ph.D heads this unit, It works on all weekdays from 10 am to 5 pm.
